3 Take Aways

God speaks to us through songs. Worship songs are not only our way to express our gratitude and praise to God, they are also a way that God can speak to us. Those songs create an intimate way for us to listen to God and how he may be leading us and moving us into a new direction. Listen to God as you worship and you may hear what his heart and desires are for you more clearly.

God’s ways aren’t always logical. God’s ways don’t always make sense to us. We try to think logically and practically of what makes sense. Our family, friends and culture may even have more sound reasoning than God, but that doesn’t mean it’s always what God wants. It may not be the best decision for you and your family. It’s important to trust what God may be saying rather than what makes sense financially, emotionally, and relationally.

Worship culture takes intentionality. We all value worship and want our church to be full of worshippers. However, worship culture doesn’t just happen. This isn’t a part-time position. It needs to be a full-time passion that takes vision, strategy and implementation. Churches need to be more intentional about creating a space and environment to invite the Holy Spirit and worship.
